During the day I wear Tarte Tinted Moisturizer. But at night I really needed a good for me, packed with vitamins and other good stuff moisturizer, but something for oily skin.
Enter Paula’s Choice Anti Aging Clear Skin Hydrator. What a way to kill two birds with one stone. Here are some of the beneficial ingredients:
Niacinamide. Cell communicating ingredient. What a great idea! I know taking Niacinamide helps to clear your skin so putting it right on your skin is brilliant. Brings a slight warmth to the skin that is barely noticeable after the first couple of applications.
Enzymes! Like lacoperoxidase. helps eliminate breakout-causing bacteria.
Vitamin C: I can’t say enough about vitamin C. Everyone should have at least one product that brings substantial vitamin C to your skin. It is anti-aging, brightening, acne-fighting, and is a natural UV-blocker.
A bunch of plant-derived anti-oxidants. I’m always especially excited when Paula decides to use plant extracts in her products, which she does a lot, because I know their purpose and the science behind their use is well researched.
Another benefit? It’s unscented. So all you smell is the faint scent of aloe vera or whatever else makes it smell so good. I love unscented things because fragrance really bothers me.
Since using Paula’s Choice Anti Acne line along with this lotion, my skin is staying consistently clear without all the dryness. I’ll have to do an update on Clinique vs. Paula’s Choice soon, because I have been using it for a few weeks now and am happy so far with the results.
I can’t wait to put this on at night – it feels really good and it makes a big difference in your skin tone the next morning. I think it’s a great product for morning use as well, I just don’t feel I need two skin care products and I already love using the Tarte Tinted Moisturizer.
“Powerful antioxidants and skin-repairing ingredients stimulate healthy collagen production, repair sun damage, and fade red marks and discolorations from past breakouts. Lactoperoxidase helps eliminate breakout-causing bacteria, while soothing agents calm skin and enhance its natural repair process.”
Price: normally $24 for 1.7 oz, right now $20 for 1.7 oz. 1.7 oz is a lot of product so I would say the price is moderate.
